Abstract:
A series of shaking table tests were designed to explore the seismic behavior of human body. The vibration signals of human body were collected by the motion capture system.Research was conducted on the influence of vibration direction, frequency and amplitude on the vibration response of human body within 0.1~10Hz.The corresponding characteristics and laws of human body seismic response are obtained and their underlying mechanism is revealed by analysis of vibration signal transmissibility, relative motion trajectories of representative position and typical feelings of human body test. The results indicate significant differences in vibration characteristics and sensations in the three directions, which largely influenced by frequency and amplitude:The human body showed two resonant frequencies,0.6Hz and 0.9Hz,respectively,in the horizontal direction, while 5Hz and 10Hz in the vertical direction. The human body’s seismic response is influenced by both the resonance effect and the vibration transmission effect. The horizontal human body responds significantly to relatively low frequency and large amplitude vibrations, which controlled the human body to maintain the state of balance. While the vertical human body responds significantly to relatively high frequency and small amplitude vibrations, which controlled the degree of influence on physical discomfort. The research results can provide reference for the reasonable earthquake emergency treatment measures and the design of building structures to avoid certain natural frequencies.
